简　　介

　　永禄9年（1566），适值日本战国时代，8名落魄军人逃到某山村，今前进役还乡，过起普通农民的生活。未几，毛利一族清查藏匿军人，村民庄左卫门（桥本功 饰）设想将军人们杀戮。军人临死前放下诅咒，谗谄他们之人必死于横死。在此以后，诅咒应验，包括庄左卫门在内8人灭亡，村子也更名为八墓村。
　　昭和24年，在东京担任飞机领航员的寺田辰弥（萩原健一 饰）忽然得知自己竟是冈山县八墓村大师族多治见家的孩子，时当主多治见久弥（山崎努 饰）不成救药，辰弥作为遗产继续人被召回八墓村。然此行必定邪恶很是，驱逐他的外祖父井川丑松（加藤嘉 饰）刚一碰头即遭鸩杀。辰弥从村生齿中知晓八墓村的由来，更得知庄左卫门即多治见家的祖先。非一般灭亡事务接连发生，究竟是军人连绵400年的诅咒？还是厥后还有诡计？
　　本片按照推理小说家横沟野史同名原著改编。
