玛莎（艾伦·德杰尼勒斯 Ellen DeGeneres 饰）逐日沉醉在工作当中，底子没偶然候谈情说爱，是以，年近三十的她照旧过着单身生活。某日，一位名叫威曼（比尔·普尔曼 Bill Pullman 饰）的男人出现在了玛莎的身旁，威曼英俊、多金、诱人又大方，更重要的是，他似乎对玛莎情之所钟，碰见这样一位几近完善的白马王子，玛莎立即被迷昏了脑筋。
